trailkeeper-tag_logo_brown-orange-orgcircleThe Delaware Highlands Conservancy and Catskill Mountainkeeper, in partnership with Sullivan County Division of Planning & Environmental Management, the Sullivan County Visitors Association, and Morgan Outdoors, are pleased to announce the re-launch of the new and improved TrailKeeper.org.

TrailKeeper.org is a one-source outlet for hiking trails and public lands in Sullivan County, NY with easy-to-read, easy-to-access maps and facilities information and guides to hiking safety. With details about locations, routes, and facilities to make hiking safer, more accessible, and more fun, TrailKeeper.org provides information that matches hiker to trail.

trailkeeper-mobileWith this re-launch, the TrailKeeper partners are pleased to announce a number of new features on the website. The site is now mobile responsive, making it easy to use and access on a tablet or smartphone.

In addition, an interactive map helps you search nearby—find local restaurants, lodgings, shops, and other local businesses near trailheads so you can plan your day and support your local community—and get directions right from the trail. New trails have been added to help you expand your territory. The site also provides news about upcoming events, activities, and attractions in the region. TrailKeeper.org promotes and supports the complete Sullivan County experience.

Trailkeeper.org is the result of a partnership between the Delaware Highlands Conservancy, Catskill Mountainkeeper, the Sullivan County Division of Planning and Environmental Management, the Sullivan County Visitors Association, and Morgan Outdoors, with these improvements supported by grants from the O’Connor Foundation, Clif Bar Foundation, and the Delaware River Watershed Initiative.
