Outreach and GIS Coordinator
Jason’s primary responsibilities are to oversee the day to day administrative operations of the Conservancy. He is the staff lead on the Eagle Conservation Committee, the Green Lodging Partnership Committee, and the Education Committee, and manages the GIS system for the Conservancy
Before joining the Conservancy in 2016, Jason’s experience in environmental science started as a GIS analyst for a small environmental consulting firm. From there, he worked with the National Park Service’s Northeast Exotic Plant Management Team based out of Bushkill, PA managing invasive species on National Park lands throughout the northeast US.
Jason has a degree in environmental resource management with a minor in biology from Keystone College in LaPlume, PA.
Favorite Protected Place
His favorite protected places are World’s End state park and the Loyalsock state forest. He has spent much time hiking and backpacking the beautiful terrain in these special areas.
Hiking, snowshoeing, backpacking, camping, playing the string bass, and working on vintage automobiles.
