Monitoring Volunteer Training
September 25 • 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join Delaware Highlands Conservancy’s Stewardship Staff for an informative Monitoring Volunteer Training at the Van Scott Nature Reserve. Reserve your spot for May 22, July 24, or September 25 to learn more about our monitoring program and how volunteers can get involved and join us on annual visits to conserved properties. The training will include an introduction to monitoring, accompanied by a practical example site visit. Gain valuable insights and contribute to the conservation efforts of the Delaware Highlands Conservancy. We look forward to welcoming you!
Be prepared to walk at least two miles on sloped terrain each day for the training. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. Light refreshments will be provided. Please pack a reusable water bottle.
If you are unavailable for these trainings, Stewardship Staff will provide you with necessary information during your first monitoring visit.
