Nancy-Bloch-2

Nancy Kiesendahl Bloch

Nancy moved with her family to a small resort called Woodloch Pines in Hawley, Pa. in 1958. Her family began a notable hospitality business there on Lake Teedyuskung where she enjoyed the beauty and rich environment as well as learning and training in the hospitality business. She graduated from The Cornell University School of Hospitality Management and pursued a career with the Marriott Hotel Corporation. Her positions included Director of Marketing at The Westchester Marriott Hotel and New York National Sales Manager. This experience led her to develop her own company serving the hospitality sales community and she was co-owner of ShopTalk20/20 for 30 years.

In 2004 Nancy followed one of her other passions and opened an Art Gallery in Beacon, New York. She is devoted to connecting with artists in the greater Hudson Valley and locally to assist them with exposure and sales and marketing of their art. The gallery, Kiesendahl+Calhoun Fine Art, Ltd. is now located at her family’s resort, The Lodge at Woodloch which is located outside of Hawley, Pa.

After many years of visiting and spending all holidays with her Woodloch family, Nancy moved back to the Hawley area and now resides in Woodloch Springs. She is very passionate about her environment and is found hiking often on many of the beautiful trails in our region. She is honored to become a member of the Board of Directors of the Conservancy after seven years of volunteering on the Development Committee and co-chairing the annual fundraisers recently. She is devoted to keeping the “Forest Bathing” alive and well in the Delaware Highlands.
