Primary Responsibilities
As Stewardship Coordinator, Steve conducts annual monitoring visits to the Conservancy’s protected properties to ensure that the goals of each conservation agreement are being met. He works directly with landowners to address inquiries about their conservation easements and coordinates the Conservancy's education programming related to land management.
Past Experience
Steve has a varied background in conservation, environmental education, outdoor recreation, and animal care. Steve is a Certified Interpretive Host with the National Association of Interpreters and joined the Conservancy in 2023 after working in formal science education and animal husbandry.
Education
Steven holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and a Combined Degree in Spanish from Albright College.
