Primary Responsibilities
As Stewardship Coordinator, Steven assists the Delaware River Watershed Pocono-Kittatinny partners with special projects, performs annual visits to the Conservancy’s protected properties, ensuring the conservation goals of the agreements are upheld, and communicates with landowners about environmental questions and inquiries related to their conservation easement.

Past Experience
Steven has a varied background in education, outdoor recreation, animal welfare, and hospitality. Most recently, he completed three years of high-school-level teaching experience in Spain as a Language & Culture Ambassador focusing on environmental science, general biology, and chemistry. During college, Steven conducted a variety of field research relating to invasive species, wetland ecology and habitat, and pollutant impacts, and additionally completed a course in Costa Rica focusing on Tropical Ecology.

Education
Steven has a B.S. in Environmental Science and a Combined Degree in Spanish from Albright College.
