Kevin Barber
Kevin Barber is a civil rights trial lawyer and a partner of Niedweske Barber, LLC. He was born and raised in Passaic County, New Jersey. Kevin graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is an Army veteran, including a tour in Iraq. Following his military service, Kevin graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law. After working for a large corporate defense law firm, he teamed up with a few West Point classmates to open a heavy civil construction company specializing in superstructure foundations and specialty soil retention systems. After numerous years and recognition for its innovative work, the company was sold to a large general contractor. Kevin returned to the practice of law representing individuals in employment law and serious personal injury cases. As a trial attorney, one of the highlights of his career was receiving the Clarence Baker- Motley Award from the NAACP. Kevin was also a District Ethics Committee member and hearing officer.
Kevin and his wife, Alison, have three children. Their family is active in sports, the community, and various outdoor activities. Kevin is a coach of the Morristown Wildcats football team. The Barber family has a farm in Blooming Grove, Pennsylvania. Kevin is an avid outdoorsman with a keen interest in flyfishing and bow hunting. He is also a dog lover. Kevin is a member of Blooming Grove Hunting and Fishing Club. He is also a novice but passionate gardener.
