Primary Responsibilities
Rachel develops and coordinates the educational programming for the Conservancy, including our winter Eagle Watch program and workshops and events at the Van Scott Nature Reserve and with partners throughout the region. She recruits and trains volunteers, and coordinates the volunteer program and activities.

Past Experience
Rachel's past experiences include both formal and non-formal education. She student-taught Agriculture for high school students and was a preschool teacher. She has also worked as a guide in Lincoln Caverns, as an educator for the Pennsylvania Game Commission at the Elk Country Visitors Center, the Casper Mountain Science School in Wyoming, and PA-DCNR at Little Buffalo State Park, and acted as a summer camp classroom lead for the Discovery Space children's science center.

Education
Rachel has an associate's degree in Wildlife Technology and a bachelor's degree in Agricultural and Extension Education from Penn State University.
