Conservancy Receives Bequest
In early 2020, the Delaware Highlands Conservancy was honored to receive a generous bequest from the estate of Mr. Harold MacGregor of Dingmans Ferry, PA. A lifelong resident of the Upper Delaware River region, Mr. MacGregor loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He spent his life in a home originally built by his grandfather. In accordance with Mr. MacGregor’s wishes, the proceeds from the sale of his home and property were divided between the Delaware Highlands Conservancy and Habitat for Humanity.
“The Conservancy is grateful to Mr. MacGregor for his generosity and his dedication to his local community,” Executive Director Diane Rosencrance stated. “This bequest will support the Conservancy’s mission to conserve the working farms and forests, clean waters, and wildlife habitat of our region, now and for future generations.”
