RAISE Your Hearts Costumed Creature Crawl Trail Run/Walk

This October, during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month (PAILA), RAISE Your Hearts invites the community to lace up their running shoes, put on their most creative costumes, and come together for the 3rd Annual Costumed Creature Crawl 5K Trail Run/Walk.
The Costumed Creature Crawl is more than a 5K. It is an opportunity to remember, honor, connect, and move together during a month dedicated to bringing greater awareness to pregnancy and infant loss and the families, loved ones, and caregivers whose lives are forever changed by it.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 31 with check-in at 9:30 am at Van Scott Nature Reserve, featuring a scenic trail course winding through farmland protected by the Delaware Highlands Conservancy.
Participants are invited to experience the event in whatever way feels right for them. In addition to the 5K trail run/walk, the morning will feature a mindfulness trail with interactive stations, a StoryWalk, music, arts and crafts, and a nature scavenger hunt.
The event is intentionally designed with many ways to participate because there is no single path through grief and no right pace for healing. Whether someone is ready to run the full 5K, wants to take a gentle walk through the woods, pause at a mindfulness station, create something, listen to music, explore with their children, or simply spend time in community, there is a place for them at the Crawl.
