Experience

Escape to Pond Eddy, NY (Southern Catskills) with just a 2-hour drive from NYC. Travel along the scenic byway known for its winding curves, offering stunning views of the Delaware River and surrounding mountain landscapes. Brookmill Cabin awaits atop a hill with towering trees on a half-acre land, inviting valley views on all sides.

We embrace eco-conscious practices and biophilic design as part of our ongoing journey, while also providing modern comforts such as energy-efficient appliances, high-speed internet, entertainment systems, and spa-like bathrooms. Fall and winter amenities: hot tub and steam shower, fireplace, and an outdoor fire pit!

Our cabin features timeless pine edge wood plank sidings outside and charred wood ceilings inside. It’s furnished with a mix of classic and contemporary furniture – some are new, antique/vintage and handmade. We’ve also incorporated nature-inspired elements: botanical art, wooden furniture, stone accents, natural fiber rugs, earth tone color palette, plenty of natural light (large windows/skylights/glass doors), nature patterns & motifs, water features (soothing sound of Mill Brook) and organic shapes and accents all around.

Expect privacy in our secluded but not isolated cabin. We’re tucked away, yet conveniently located just 20 minutes from Port Jervis, New York, and a mere 10-30 minutes from nearby towns like Barryville, Narrowsburg, and Eldred. This is a rural area where distances between points of interest may require some driving. Whether you’re seeking a quiet moment or a short drive to groceries, restaurants, and other activities, Pond Eddy strikes the perfect balance, ensuring you can be away from the city or town while staying connected to the amenities you desire. The area is home to several hiking trails, such as the Tusten Mountain Trail and the Mongaup Falls Reservoir Loop. Fishing and kayaking in the Delaware River are also popular pastimes, and the river is known for its excellent fly fishing.
